Find out more...

Please read this before completing our online waiting list form:

  • Once you have completed the form please check your email inbox (or junk mail folder) to make sure you are receiving emails from us.

  • You will be asked to enter details to join our waiting list for Beavers, Cubs or Scouts. We do have limited numbers, but spaces become available as children move up to the next group normally during the school holiday or half-term break after their birthday.

  • Please remember that all of our leaders are volunteers so they will be in touch when they can - the waiting list us usually checked once a week.

  • After you complete the form, a leader will be in touch with you to confirm the details and invite you and your child to try out a session or two first before making your decision.

Here is our online waiting list form hosted by 'Online Scout Manager'.

Our age groupings and normal group times, during term-time, are:

Tuesdays, 5.30pm to 6.30pm

Beavers for those aged 6 to 8. Try new things. Make new friends. Joining Beavers is just the beginning of your big adventure.

Tuesdays, 6.45pm to 8.15pm

Cubs for those aged 8 to 10½. Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole other world.

Thursdays, 7.30pm to 9pm

Scouts for those aged 10½ to 14. Jump in and get muddy. Give back and get wet. Scouts ignore the butterflies and go for it, and soon so will you.

Other events...

In addition to our weekly programme during term time, we regularly hold or visit special events, camps and adventures. Some of these are for specific sections (i.e. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts), some are for the whole group and some are for the whole group plus their families or the wider community. We mark seasonal, national and global events too. Some examples are:

Group Camp

Fireworks

Hedingham Santa

Mega Camp
